Refunds and cancellations

Eligibility

Fees for DataCloud Forge advisory engagements (assessments, forecast reviews, audits, and briefings) are refundable only under the conditions below. Informational website content is free and has no purchase to refund.

Timeframe

Refund requests must be sent to contact@datacloudforge.digital within 14 days of the event that triggers eligibility (for example, cancellation before analysis begins), unless the engagement confirmation states a different window.

Full refund

A full refund of amounts paid is available if we cancel an engagement for reasons solely on our side, or if you cancel in writing before data intake begins and no preparatory work has started.

Partial refund

If you cancel after data intake has started but before the findings workshop or final handoff, we may refund the unused portion after deducting work already performed, typically billed at a fair share of the fixed fee corresponding to completed stages.

Non-refundable items

Completed workshops, delivered findings documents, and travel expenses already incurred for agreed on-site days are non-refundable. Deposits held to reserve a start week become non-refundable once analysis has begun.

Process

Email contact@datacloudforge.digital with your engagement reference, reason for the request, and preferred contact phone. We confirm eligibility within five business days.

Processing time and method

Approved refunds are returned by the original payment method within 10–15 business days after approval, subject to banking timelines in Korea.

Cancellation and rescheduling

You may reschedule a kickoff or workshop once without fee if you give at least five business days’ notice. Later changes may incur a rescheduling fee stated in the engagement confirmation. Repeated no-shows for scheduled calls may be treated as cancellation of the remaining unused portion.

Work already started and materials

When analysis is underway, fees cover professional time rather than physical goods. Any client-provided data remains yours; drafts prepared by us remain our working materials until final handoff under the engagement terms.

Exceptions

Mandatory consumer protections under Korean law, if applicable to your situation, take precedence over this policy.
